I love my accent lights, but it’s a good idea to order rechargeable batteries and charger. As mentioned in a previous review (before I received my 7th light to go above the stove which I ordered separately), the remote needs to be pointed at the lights in order to activate the features (timer, dimming, in/off). But I used a small piece of velcro to attach the remote to the wall for easy access.
