Although the Nike Blazer Mid debuted in the 1970s as the brand’s first official made-for-basketball sneaker, the silhouette has enjoyed several fashion-oriented renaissances over the decades. For its latest iteration, the model has taken a liking to jumbo-sized profile swooshes.
Unquestionably reminiscent of the Off-White propositions created by the late-Virgil Abloh, the newly-surfaced pair opts for a classic white and grey makeup throughout most of its build. The aforementioned logos designed by Carolyn Davidson, however, deviate in bold ruby-colored contrast. Other non-standard features – elastic collar, synthetic leather on the tongue, zig-zag stitching on the tip of the toe – are done in a mix of off-white, black and grey. The re-worked sole unit underfoot also dons a simple color makeup, though tread delivers an aggressive solution.
Enjoy official images of the women’s pair here below, and expect a Nike.com release date soon.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 3 is set to have an exciting 2022.
